I 3/2/2012 2:50:38 PM JazzFan: I am looking for opinions on whether I should go with the 2 or 4 moa on an Aimpoint Micro. I cant find a 2 moa Aimpoint Micro anywhere local to look at, so I would be ordering without seeing one. This will be for my DD m4 and will be my close quarters set up. My eyes are only getting older and worse with age. I am leaning towards the 4 moa for this reason. Anyone have both? I assume the 2 moa would be best for use with a 3x magnifier? Opinions and suggestions please. I’ve got both. Up close it won’t matter but 200-400m it makes a huge difference having the 2moa. Top_Secret

It had started at 22%, then creeped to 29 during the Obama scare. Problem is, they never dropped price when the scare went away. If you find a gun at a store for sale priced at the MSRP, you’re getting gouged a fair amount. That depends on the maker. Some put the MSRP fairly high, which then means that the buyer is eating a large chunk of Pittman Robertson, even if he buys the gun at a discount. Some other makers list an MSRP for their guns at 15 or 20%. Nighthawk, LWRC, and Les Baer are a few who publish a very low margin MSRP. Regarding ammunition, expect around 30%. Optics and mounts run about the same. Cleaning kits and other stuff are marked up more. Some asshole is going to start crying about the nerve of stores to seek a 30% margin on ammunition. They’re making too much money. I refer these people to the gun department at The Salvation Army. PAEBR332

Walter I want to put a magnifier behind my Aimpoint Comp M4 which doesnt have a raiser on it. I have the Aimpoint Comp M4 as low as possible so I dont need a cheek rest and can use the iron sights if I take it off. Any suggestions? damcv62 [Life Member] 12/25/2011 10:46:55 PM I’ve got one of the larue mounts, but my aimpoint is also in a larue mount. Its low enough to use with other mounts I’ve had though.
